Comfort

 Comfort

White lilies

Satin shimmer

And an immaculate linen suit

Forge  memory

Of a life that contained soil

And stain.

But, for now

Pristine

Brings welcome order

To the tumult of loss,

And fills nothing

With something

I can call comfort.
