Guilty Pleasures
Walking barefoot in sin
Feeling guilty pleasures squish between my toes.
Stockings will sheath stained feet
so Simon’s kind won’t
entertain aspersions
leaving my shame ensconced as on a prince’s bed
because it won’t stink until much later,
leaving long leisure
for building a proper temple of contrition.
