The Face
The face, though unlined not because of age, but because of corpulence, still shows passages of time and emotion.
A kind smooth face; but one hiding a rough temper and a bumpy pursuit of perfection.
The stormy sea blue eyes with wooly brows belie a moody soul. Demanding but forgiving.
One who invests too much in others and then licks wounded ego when expectation doesn’t meet reality.
Stubborn in knowledge but generous of heart.
The most critical judge of any is staring back at me from the mirror.
But even this one knows not all in the depth of vision.
